Just returned from Crimea archives. Simferopol and Kertch.  Catching small pieces of puzzles here and there, with some successes.

Archives are not computerized, but the people there is friendly and helpful.

They are currently digitizing the Crimea 1921 census sheets, look for them to be digitally available in a few months from now.

Seen the following nice calligraphic sample.
