While researching in College Park MD archive we found the unopened pack of photos, with the accompanying letter saying
Transmitted herewith are sixty-four pictures which are self-explanatory of conditions at the United Nations Evacuation Cemter on Tubabao Island
signed by James E Henderson, American Consul General
Those documents are of the few describing Russian Reefugee IRO camp on Tubabao. They are dated January-February 1950
We left the captions as they were in the file. If you find any of your relatives here – please let us know.
