This is a plain old 1905 marriage record in the currently Polish city of Bialystok. Although it is now Poland, the records before 1918 were kept in Russian language. We can read records on all European languages. Need help with some strange handwriting? Feel something elusive is in the old unreadable handwriting? Let us try to help you. The review of the document is free .
We were a bit confused with Bialystok records recently — one copy of the books is at the State Archive, which is closed for the next several months, another is in the Diocese archive, which is open twice a week and only allows access with pen and pencil. The records which are available online are not indexed, and books scanned also have no indexes inside. We found a good colleague who helped us there: Daniel Paczkowski of the http://ancestral-tourism.com/ was very helpful. If you have any research needs there — please do not hesitate to give him a call.
