Dear history lovers, both professional and amateurs!
The very complicated 2020 year is reaching its end, and we are looking for 2021 to be as complicated as this one.
The part of “new normal” is that archives and libraries close, regulations become more restrictive, delays longer, and other small and big things which makes our work much more complicated than it was even a year ago. Feeling of witnessing the end of civilization does not leave us.
(like this winter cemetery in Norisk, northern Russia)
But we keep our optimism here. More archival books are digitized, some things are getting really easier to research than it was before. And archives, those repositories of documents of this old civilisation, are still around and still struggling to work.
We hope to be able to help with your unfinished 2020 projects in the coming year, and try to solve more of your puzzles as well.
We wish you and your loved ones good health and all the really best wishes.
See you all in 2021.
