Did you ever found that documents about your family history are “Confidential” or “Classified”? Does it means you have no chances to see it? Definitely NO.
During last month we have reviewed documents like the one above in US, UK and Russian archives, were able to remove classification in UK file we needed, filed a dozen of applications in US. It is a bureaucratic procedure, sometimes long, but definitely doable and worth every cent.
You might not be very excited to learn WHY they followed them, but remember — those bits and pieces could be information you need to break your genealogical brick wall.
